smth funny at work:
phone rings, i pick it up and its some chinese speaking dude. duh dont understand wth he's babbling.

guy: jgfiwhknhskmfp marianne wojkjqijakjfk?
me: oh. dfiwjjqrhuirjhg marianne fjhfuiwrk. (busy)
guy: (silence)
me: hello???
guy: hello hello hello?
me: hello? marianne hfuwhfjjqhuajgdjjgadjhncihq( busy i ask her call u back)
guy: (silence)
me: HELLO? JIHDUIGSUISGJKAHUSJAHUIOHAJSOOIHD ( WHAT IS YOUR NAME AND NUMBER)
guy: kwan. jhfwfwunhfuioa(number in chinese)
me: ok thank you. bye!
guy: silence.
me: BYE!!
guy: (hangs up)

after lunch,

daphne answers a phonecall. (speaks chinese)
daph: -( i think you got the wrong number coz everyone here knows how to speak chinese)
- (yesyes. maybe you called into singtel)
- (no even at the other side everyone can speak chinese!)
- (hmm.. maybe you got into the voicemail)
- (ok i'll let her know then)

me: did customer complain somebody dunno how to speak chinese? if he did, must be me lah!
daph: SHHH not so loud. later you get scolding then you know. yeah he say somebody answer the phone then dunno how to speak chinese and nobody got back to him.
me: huh. maybe me leh.
daph: HAHA I SAY HE TALK TO VOICEMAIL!
me: HAHAHHA YEAH I KNOW!
daph: good thing i put down the phone alr so he never ask how come the voicemail can ask for his number HAHAHAHHA.

BUT!!!!! in the end, that person wasnt me. i thought it was but i guess im not the worst at chinese huh! :D we still cant find the culprit though hahah.

another funny incident:
2 weird ppl came to collect certs.

me: sorry please take a seat outside. my colleague is looking for your cert.
lady: (looks at me) orh.
few secs later, lady pops her head into office
lady: hjajkfhuowehjh (sit where?)
joanna: the sofa outside. yup.
after lady goes...
joanna: then where you want to sit. go bus stop sit lah. wl. sibei shag.
*whole office bursts into laughter*

doesnt really sound funny here but at that time the woman looked so lost it was kinda funny alr and joanna just had to make that comment.

whee im done with work. keyed in hundred plus names for jo. waiting for da to come over study.
